It is coastal in the Southwest, the South and the far
Southeast.
It is thinly scattered elsewhere.

It is found by the coast, mailnly on grassland on cliffs and
stabilised sand dunes.
Sea Carrot is a native, biennial herbs growing up to 1.5m.
It is very similar to Wild Carrot, but Sea Carrot has stouter,
more succulent stems, darker green leaves, the fruiting-
umbels are more saucer-like in shape and it is confined
to the coast.
Sea Carrot is most different from Wild Carrot in the West,
in Cornwall and Devon. The differences get progressively
less the further east and north you go.
