It grows on disturbed, nutrient-rich habitats such as,
grasslands, hedge banks, waste ground, and as a
garden and agricultural weed.
It is an archaeophyte.
Cut-leaved Crane's-bill is a sprawlling, scrambling, annual
herb, growing up to 60cm.
The flowers are small (up to 1cm across), pink to purple,
with notched petals.
Sepals are longer than the petals and have a distinct
bristle.
The beak of the fruit is glandular, pink-tipped and up
to 12mm.
Leaves are divided into 5 to 7 linear lobes.
