It is found on wet, calcareous grassland and bare soils in
limestone areas of the Pennines.
Bird's-eye Primrose is a small (15cm), pretty, conspicuous,
native perennial herb.
The flowers are pink/lilac, up to 1.5cm across, with a
central yellow eye.
Leaves are in a rosette and they, like the stem, have
a whitish coating.
