It is native in the far South and through the central spine
towards the North.
It is planted elsewhere.

Native Solomon's-seal grows in Ash and Sycamore woods
in calareous soils.
Similar garden hybrids have become naturalised escapes,
which are found on waste ground, by paths and along
railway embankments.
Solomon's Seal is a native, rhizomatous, patch-forming,
perennial herb growing up to 80cm.
The white flowers with green-tipped petals are on arching
stems.
The leaves are broadly oval, alternate and greyish green.
Fruits are black berries.
