It is found in the southerb half of the country.

It grows on calcareous, clay soils - wet in winter and hot and dry
in summer, in grassy places, such as unimproved meadows,
banks, hedgerows, verges and coastal cliffs.
Slender Tare is a native, scrambling, annual, nitrogen-fixing
herb growing up to 60cm.
The flowers are bluer and larger (up to 9mm) than in Hairy or
Smooth Tare, and there are up to 4 per flowerhead.
Leaves are in 2 to 4 pairs and resemble soft needles.
