It is found round the coast and is scattered inland
throughout the country.

It grows in well-drained, gravelly soils such as on sea cliffs,
stable dunes and sandy and rocky places.
Inland it grows on dry grassland and by paths, roads and
railways.
Sea Mouse-ear is a native, annual, low growing herb,
growing up to 30cm.
Flowers are up to 6mm across, with 4 white cleft petals,
4 white stamens an 4 white stigmas.
Sepals, leaves and stems are hairy, glandular and sticky.
