It is found all round the coast, but is less common in the
Northeast.

It grows above the strand line on sandy and shingle sea
shores.
Sea Bindweed is a native, prostrate, creeping, trailing,
perennial herb, spreading up to 60cm.
Flowers are solitary, up to 5cm, funnel-shaped and pink
to lilac with 5 radiating white stripes.
The 2 stigmas are broad (cf field bindweed).
Leaves are fleshy and kidney-shaped (reniform).
