The main flowering season is from April to September,
but it can be found flowering all year in mild winters.
It is found throughout the country.

It is mainly found on waste land and in grassy habitats,
e.g., roads, motorways, and railways, in meadows and
pastures, on cliffs and dune slacks, and waste and
brownfield sites.
Oxeye Daisy is a fast growing, woody, perennial herb
and the biggest native daisy, growing up to 75cml.
Flowers are large (3-6cm in diameter) with long white
ray-florets and yellow disc-florets.
The leaves are toothed with the upper ones clasping
the stem.
