It is scattered throughout the country, but is more common
in the South and least common in the East.

It is a neophyte which was first seen in the wild in the mid
1800s.
It is found in waste ground, on hedge-banks, beside roads
and as an arable weed.
Medium-flowered Winter-cress is a biennial herb growing
up to 60cm.
Flowers are bright yellow and small (6mm).
Leaves are green with a large terminal lobe.
Pods have short styles and are adpressed to the stems.
