Daisies flower best in extensive patches in spring and
summer but some flowers can be found throughout
the year, including January.
It is found throughout the country.

It occurs in most types of grassland but does best when
they are moist.
It is found in wasteland, road sides, hedgerows, banks of
streams and dune slacks.
It is regarded as a weed of lawns.
Daisy is a low, rosette-forming plant with white flowers -
1 to 2cm in diameter - sometimes with red tips to the
petals.
