of the North, the far Southwest, the East.

It grows on dry sandy soils, sand dunes, heaths and
grassland, beside roads and on walls.
Common Stork's-bill is a native, sprawling annual growing
up to 60cm.
Flowers are pink-purple, sometimes with black patches
at the base of the 2 largest of the 5 petals.
Fertile stamens have orange pollen.
The stigmas are typically Geraniaceae star-shaped.
Leaves are 2 pinnate.
The fruits have a beak of up to 2.5cm.
