It is found throughout the country, except for the far North.

It grows in damp places – marshes, dune slacks and water
meadows, by streams, ponds, ditches, paths and roads.
Common Fleabane is a native, perennial, rhizomatous,
downy herb, growing up to 1m.
Floweheads are golden yellow and up to 3cm.
Ray florets are bright yellow and disc florets, dark yellow.
Leaves vary from green to grey and are oval to lanceolate.
The upper leaves are wrinkled.
