It grows in a range of dry grasslands
Bird's-foot-trefoil is a native, perennial herb, which can
grow as a prostrate cushion or up to 50cm in taller
grassland.
Flowers are deep yellow and often streaked or tipped
with red and orange.
The calex teeth are elongated and triangular.
Flowerheads have between 2 to 7 flowers per head.
Leaves are trifoliate leaflets
