August/September
Musk thistles, Ham Hill, Somerset
Although August is rich in summer flowers, there are surprisingly few that start to
bloom in the month. Mostly, August flowers started their flowering seasons in
June and July.
August and September are good time to find coastal plants, which tend to
start flowering later in the year.
